City Parks Foundation – Seeds to Trees: Seeds to Trees provides outdoor field experiences and hands-on classroom activities for elementary and middle school students. Students will be introduced to science and nature in fun and engaging ways, whether through studying biodiversity, urban wildlife, forest ecology or healthy waterways.
City Parks Foundation – LEARNING GARDENS: Our gardens fosters a love of science and nature among kids who are living in some of New York City’s under resourced communities. Learning Gardens provides hands-on lessons for elementary and middle school kids during the school year, and group programs during the summer, teaching kids the fun of community gardening, growing food, understanding biodiversity of our urban environment and more.
Children & Nature Network: The Children & Nature Network is leading the movement to connect all children, their families and communities to nature through innovative ideas, evidence-based resources and tools, broad-based collaboration and support of grassroots leadership.
Brooklyn Forest: Brooklyn Forest offers classes in city parks for young children and their caregivers. A wonderful childhood starts with imaginative play and a supportive community; with a meaningful connection to nature and wildlife.
